Diet

Beavers are omnivores. They feed on bark, leaves, roots, and twigs. They also eat water plants, small shrubs, cottonwood, willow, oak, aspen beach, alde, hickory, and birch trees. Beavers harvest food that they will store for the winter. Some of the food they find they put near there lodge for a later use. The beaver that the beaver keeps in its loge it puts on a drying rack. When they need food they pass it out.
