The beaver lives in canada, he northern United Sates,soem parts of Europe and Asia. The beavers live on sides of riverbanks in lodges that are half above and half below the water. Beavers build lodges make of twigs, sticks and mud. Beavers sometimes burrow small caves inside the riverbank. The beavers can also change the water level of the river by building a dam to make the water deeper.
